Dawn Kowalski, Administrator of SMITH HOOD BIGMAN, Earns CLM Designation

SMITH HOOD BIGMAN is pleased to announce that Dawn Kowalski, the Firm's Administrator, earned the prestigious designation of Certified Legal Manger (CLM) in the fall of 2008 through the Association of Legal Administrators. This designation is awarded on the basis of experience, study and examination. There are approximately 300 CLM members of the ALA among a membership of over 10,000. Ms. Kowalski is currently the only active legal manager holding the CLM designation in Volusia County. She is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators, Central Florida Chapter. Her experience consists of Legal Management, Human Resources, Payroll Administration, Accounting, Finance, Benefits, Compensation, Purchasing, and Operations Management. Ms. Kowalski has a B.A. degree in Organizational Management from Warner University. She has been with SMITH HOOD BIGMAN since 2000, she became Office Manager in 2004 and in 2007 her title was changed to Firm Administrator.
