Mr. McConnell, Of Counsel, joined Smith Hood Bigman in 1987. His areas of practice include estate planning, guardianships, counseling small business owners, and litigation related to these issues. Mr. McConnell served in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1975 and in the Naval Reserve from 1981 to 1996. While serving in the U.S. Navy, Mr. McConnell received the Bronze Star with combat distinguishing device, Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Achievement Medal, and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry.
